Getting to Know You

When you visit, you will be greeted from the moment you enter the door! During service, we will welcome you with our welcome song and the “passing of peace”, which is a time of fellowship and greeting one another. A HOST will come to your seat and give you a packet of information about Freedom and a gift from our pastor.

How Should I Dress?

Come as you are! Freedom members are as comfortable casual as we are in our Sunday best!

What time is Worship Service?

Morning worship starts at 11:00am.

Is There Childcare and/or Children's Church?

We have Creative for Christ Children’s Church, for children ages 5 – 12, located across from the sanctuary in the Activity Room. Children’s Church meets on 1st and 3rd Sundays from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Is There Parking?

There is parking on Harrison Street across from the church as well as parking behind the church.

The Freedom Experience allows us to be free to worship, submit to Scriptural authority, and embrace Bible-based, family-oriented, purpose-driven ministry that is culturally relevant. In all things, we commit ourselves to pursue balance between the contemporary realities and the traditional heritage that will allow our church government, worship and ministry to give glory to God and acknowledge the supreme Lordship of Jesus Christ over the Freedom Hillside.

Freedom Hillside sees the presence of the Kingdom of God being established through a growing community of believers. Out of the Freedom Church, the Holy Spirit will give focus, fullness and fruitfulness to ventures and victories that will make known the power and favor of God throughout the greater Chicago area.
